RENEWING YOUR PROPANE LICENSE FOR 2017- 2018

Propane licenses issued under the Kansas Propane Safety and Licensing Act must be obtained and renewed each year. All propane licenses expire on September 30, 2018 and the open renewal period is June 15, 2017 through July 15, 2017.

Education courses requiring CETP training or additional training is now available through Kan-PERC for a limited time ONLY.  These courses will be offered at multiple locations in Kansas. Please view the course and schedules at http://www.propaneinkansas.org/ or call 785‐354‐1749 and get scheduled.

RENEWING YOUR LICENSE

1.    Summary (REQUIRED TO BE RETURNED)

This is a current look at your existing licenses. Please double‐check the statement to make sure there are no mistakes, any items that are not correct need to be noted, on the applicable forms that are available on our website at www.ksfm.ks.gov under the propane license tab and/or indicate the changes directly on the billing summary. 

2.    Renewal Information Form (REQUIRED TO BE RETURNED)

Provides information to OSFM regarding method of communication preferred by company and requested changes to be made to existing licenses.

3.    Training Requirements (REQUIRED TO BE RETURNED)

Proof of successful completion training for each employee for the license you are applying for also, send in currant Refresher Training certificates.

4.    Proof of Current Insurance (REQUIRED TO BE RETURNED)


INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE OR OUT OF GAS FORMS

Please note that IOSF forms for class 8 licenses are due by the 10th (regardless if you have 0) of each month and may be faxed to 785-296-0151 or sent to prevention@ks.gov . Please make sure to include your class 1 dealer number.
