Welcome to Kip Richardson, new Fire Prevention Inspector

User Not Found | Dec 21, 2015

Kip RichardsonOSFM is pleased to welcome Kip Richardson as its new Fire Prevention Inspector, covering a multi-county region circling his hometown of Augusta.

Kip brings with him vast experience with the fire service. He joins our staff following a 32 year career with Boeing in Wichita, where he served as a manager with Security and Fire Protection Services. He has also served with the Augusta fire department for the past 18 years, where he currently holds the rank of Captain.

Along with Lori, his wife of 24 years, Kip has four children and six grandchildren. When he’s not working, Kip enjoys spending time outdoors, working in his yard or fishing with his son. He also enjoys going to movies with Lori and serving as the facilities core team leader for their church.

Kip is excited to begin this new chapter in his career, and says he most looks forward to “making a difference in people’s lives by assuring that where they go, where they live and where their kids are watched over is fire safe so that they can all be together at the end of the day.”
